I started a full house re-furb this year, involving a garage conversion to a large utility and making my existing kitchen, dining room and utility into one large kitchen-diner. I spent months talking to kitchen suppliers, all of whom wanted to sell me what they had rather than what I wanted (or needed). In every case the utility felt like an after-thought to which they paid little attention. Ian is the only designer who took the time to really understand how I live, what I want from the design and that the utility design was key to freeing the right space for a more wow-factor kitchen. He has been innovative, patient, hugely supportive, always quick to respond and has worked with me to revise the design until it was perfect. Ultimately Ian really cares about you having a great end product. He has managed the whole process with suppliers and fitters and taken personal responsibility throughout for the end to end process. I trust him implicitly and the result is an amazing room which I am delighted with. I can’t now wait to see my new kitchen. My friend commented that it is “WOW and DOUBLE WOW” – I can’t argue with that. Working with Ian is one of the best decisions I have made in this process and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. After putting up with the same kitchen for 45 years. I decided to consult Ian who had successfully installed a replacement kitchen for my daughter. The plan was slow (my fault) shaping up. We ended up making a large kitchen by combining the laundry room and moving the back door. The overall result was a very practical kitchen, finished to a very high standard. I loved it. Then 2 years later we sold the house!!
